Sisters Of Influence: Three Women Who Changed Chicago

Come join us for a captivating look at the remarkable Fay sisters—Zina, Amy, and Rose—whose vision and leadership helped shape late 19th-century Chicago. Discover how these influential women helped found the Anti-Cruelty Society, supported the creation of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and championed the construction of Orchestra Hall. Author and living history performer Andrea Friederici Ross, joined by Elizabeth Carlson portraying Rose Fay, brings their inspiring story to life through engaging storytelling and historical insight. Based on Ross’s book Sisters of Influence, this presentation shines a light on women whose lasting contributions helped define Chicago’s cultural and civic landscape.

A complimentary lunch will be served.
