Dan is a graduate of Western Illinois University, where he received his B.S. degree. He has worked in the senior living industry since 2001 and held roles in hotel operations management prior to that. His passion for seniors is unmatched, and from his experiences at communities in the Chicagoland area, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge to the Sedgebrook family. As executive director, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community. His goals are to ensure residents are satisfied, the staff thrive in a teamwork-centered environment, and the community continues to stay innovative.

Dawn has been a valued member of the Sedgebrook team since 2006. As director of sales and marketing, she is responsible for the continued growth of the community. Dawn leads a wonderful team of individuals who are passionate about helping prospective residents find their fit in Sedgebrook’s active, fulfilling lifestyle.
Keegan joined Sedgebrook in April 2017 and is responsible for the smooth running of Radford Green. He brings a passion for senior care to his position, along with broad experience. Previously, Keegan held administrative positions at three Life Care Services communities, where he worked in Admissions, Home Care, Administration, Marketing and Dining Services. “It’s been a wonderful experience traveling around the country working with Life Care Services but it’s exciting to have a long-term home here at Sedgebrook.” Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Keegan earned a B.A. degree in communication and media studies from Ohio University.
Dr. Elliott Kroger, MD is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Geriatric Society. He has presented at national conferences and is a two-time recipient of Chicago Magazine’s 500 Best Doctors of Chicago award. Dr. Kroger received his degree from Rush Medical College and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Joseph makes moving look easy! Since 2005, he has brought his creativity to the Sedgebrook team. Joseph’s passion is to take a blank space and turn it into someone’s vision, as he assists residents in choosing their preferred colors and style. He also manages the moving and unpacking process from start to finish so new residents feel right at home when they move into the community. Joseph’s work ensures a smooth, stress-free transition.
Chef Kira received her culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu and has been working as Sedgebrook’s executive chef since 2014. Above all else, Chef Kira enjoys preparing comfort foods! On a typical day, you’ll find her planning future meals, overseeing lunch and dinner, and collaborating with other team members to ensure a smooth running operation. Resident feedback is very meaningful to Chef Kira, as she adds new dishes to the menu based on their comments and experiences.
