Associate Executive Director

Joanne Kopper, MA, is the associate executive director at Sedgebrook. Joanne completed her graduate work in counseling and has been employed in senior living since 2009, with an emphasis on social services for many of those years. Joanne joined Sedgebrook in September 2011 and has held several positions in that time. In 2019, she became director of residential health services, primarily overseeing the day-to-day operations of Sedgebrook at Home and serving as wellness navigator for the community. Also in 2019, Joanne received the Strive and Thrive award from LeadingAge for the development and implementation of Sedgebrook at Home. She has been in her current role since 2022. Joanne has been married for over 11 years and has three wonderful children, Brady, James and Charlotte.

Interior Designer/Move-In Consultant

Joseph makes moving look easy! Since 2005, he has brought his creativity to the Sedgebrook team. Joseph’s passion is to take a blank space and turn it into someone’s vision, as he assists residents in choosing their preferred colors and style. He also manages the moving and unpacking process from start to finish so new residents feel right at home when they move into the community. Joseph’s work ensures a smooth, stress-free transition.

Tim has worked in senior living dining for over 20 years in all levels of care and is married with a daughter and son.

Kira Eggert

Kira Eggert

Executive Chef

Chef Kira received her culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu and has been working as Sedgebrook’s executive chef since 2014. Above all else, Chef Kira enjoys preparing comfort foods! On a typical day, you’ll find her planning future meals, overseeing lunch and dinner, and collaborating with other team members to ensure a smooth running operation. Resident feedback is very meaningful to Chef Kira, as she adds new dishes to the menu based on their comments and experiences.
