Chicago Architecture Presented by Krista August

With a lifelong interest in architecture, the built environment, and the great outdoors, Krista August became a tour guide for the Chicago Architecture Foundation in 2007, leading tours of the city’s historic and modern skyscrapers. She recently authored an art and history guide for Chicago’s largest and historically most important park—Giants in the Park* (2011, 2nd ed. 2015)—which won the 2011 Chicago Writers Association Book of the Year and 2014 Illinois State Historical Society Certificate of Excellence.
